Attention to all homeowners in the San Luis Obispo Coastal Resource Conservation District, make use of this rebate program offered to help you with your water conserving landscape projects:

"Residents of San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande or Nipomo may be eligible for the StormRewards Program. Rebates up to $999 will be available for installing Best Management Practices (BMP) on private property... Engineered recommendations for your site are provided free-of-charge, focusing on your specific landscaping and stormwater runoff needs."

Projects can be as simple as installing a rain garden, directing roof runoff to landscaped areas, or installing an above or below ground rain water tank.
