Earth Day Music Festival

Spend the day under clear blue skies and in the natural setting of El Chorro Regional Park from 10 am to 5 pm, at the 25th annual Earth Day Fair & Music Festival on Sunday, April 19.  Park the car and ride the Double Decker bus courtesy of SLO City Transit Center from the Downtown Transit Center, carpool with family and friends, or bicycle to a day of discovery, exploration, inspiration and fun for all ages. Admission is free.

This year the free, all-day outdoor Earth Day Fair is expanding to include a Music Festival hosting popular local musicians on three stages in addition to one hundred displays and exhibits.  Eco friendly, climate change messages, products, or services of businesses, organizations, schools and college clubs will be highlighted at the Green Car Show, Kid’s Zone, Eco Marketplace, Health Center, and Green Building & an Energy Hub, Food & Drink Garden and under the Wine and Beer Tent.

Fun kids’ events will take place in the Children’s Garden from 12pm to 3pm, including a planting party and crafting!

Earth Day organizers are asking attendees to ride a bike, car pool or take the bus. All buses, countywide, will provide free bus rides for the day. Special routes to and from El Chorro Regional Park for Earth Day will start at 10 am.

What you’ll find at Earth Day 2015

Dairy Creek Zero Waste Park Tour, Clean Energy Zone, Kid’s Korner, Eco Marketplace, Health & Well-being Center, Food Court, Beer & Wine and SLO anBotanical Garden Tours. Enjoy live music from two stages throughout the day. The main stage will feature some of the best music on the central coast.

Park for free at Cuesta College. Shuttle buses will take visitors to and from the park or visitors can walk in and out across Hwy 1. Limited disabled parking is available inside the park; permits are required.

Earth Day 2015 hosts are Earth Day Alliance, Inc. and San Luis Obispo County Parks.
